Starting your design

If you have a design that you would like to bring to life, you can draw it in a CAD program and have 3DP Train print your project and ship it to you. If you think that other people maybe interested in the item you can also list it in our marketplace.
There are several programs that I would suggest you start with: Tinkercad, Blender, or Sketchup. Once you download the program onto your computer there are thousands of YouTube instruction videos.
Tinkercad- https://www.tinkercad.com/ This is a completely free software. It is more geared for children to learn CAD. They offer classes to learn their program.
Blender- https://www.blender.org/ This is another free software, there are several tutorials on their site. There are also many tutorials on YouTube. This software is much more advanced, it might be overwhelming at first.
Sketchup- https://www.sketchup.com/ There are free and paid version of this software. The free software is cloud based, but if you get into this program you can pay for it. They offer several resources on their website.
Once your project is complete, save it as a STL or OBJ then email us. We will be able to help you upload your file and then we print it. The printers we use are resin based so they will have sprue marks. The items will be shipped as soon as possible. We ask for 2 up to 3 weeks for printing time; some larger items may take longer. The item will be shipped in paper, foam and/or bubble wrap. They will be in white boxes or clam shells. You will be offered a few shipping speeds at the time when you purchase your item.
