Description

The Winona & St. Peters ran from Winona Minnesota to Watertown South Dakota, but being a subsidiary of the C&NW, its cars roamed across the midwest. This set letters five cars.

Traced from photos taken in the 1860s through 1880s, three distinct lettering styles are included representing the hand-painted lettering of the real cars. As a subsidiary of the C&NW, these cars were often interchanged with the Union Pacific finding their way out west in the Rocky Mountain and Great Basin region. They probably went east, too!
