HO-8007C – Duluth and Iron Range D4 Ore Car Decals – 1926-1938
Description
The Duluth and Iron Range received 1,200 steel ribbed ore cars from Pressed Steel Car Co. in 1905 and 1907. Beginning in 1926 they received a revised paint scheme that featured an octagonal herald. This lasted until 1938 when the Duluth and Iron Range merged with the Duluth, Missabe and Northern to create the Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Railway.
