HO-7012 – Fox Pressed Steel Truck
Description
The Fox Pressed Steel Truck, introduced in the early 1890s, was one of the first successful alternatives to the Arch Bar truck. We currently offer a 30 ton version patterned after a New York Central and Hudson River prototype, and we will update the listing to feature additional versions in the future. Though not as widespread as arch bars, Fox trucks were frequently sighted on many railroads through the 20s, and some examples lasted into the 1930s. This truck comes with or without body-hung brake beams (see photos).
