This is a replacement cab for the Bachmann Fn3 Mogul and American.  This was designed from David Fletchers drawing of a Kansas Central Locomotive.   The kit comes with a roof, sliding windows, front doors, front and rear window plugs.

While it is designed as a direct replacement, Bachmann seems to have made small changes to various versions of these locomotives.  Specifically the running boards and floor seem to vary slightly from loco to loco.  I designed this using the tread plate floor from my Mogul, but I used a wood floor from an American.  They are not the same.  I had to move the screw holes on the floor around a little so I could screw the cab on.  (cutting and filling required on the floor).  For more on this build see my blog at bigstackslittlelocomotives.wordpress.com and my Youtube channel of the same name.

This model is printed in a photo-polymer resin that is cured with UV light. We have not tested this resin in an out-door environment but do recommend a good coat of paint to protect it. If you have questions, feel free to contact us at info@3dptrain.com
