These classic White Pass and Yukon Alcos were only available in brass until now! Due to the limited number of mechanism options available this has been modeled to fit a HO Kato RSD4/5 chassis. The axles on these chassis can be narrowed relatively easily, or you can build yourself a freelance standard gauge version. There are slots on the model that fit KV Models’ etched handrail stanchions.

Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of the printed shell and the chassis conversion. The print is smooth, detailed and free from warps or twisting. I'm a big fan of the Atlas Kato mechanism so I have no doubt as to its quality, longevity and ease of conversion to DCC. I don't have any HOn3 track currently so I can't test it.
This was my first experience with a 3D printed model railroad item and I was very impressed with this. The resolution is excellent, the shell is very robust relieving my fear that it would be too delicate and break easily. This model has previously only been available in brass, so they are very hard to find and expensive.
