This is an HO scale model of the 1837 locomotive Baltimore built by the Locks & Canals Co. for the Baltimore & Susquehanna Railroad. Locks & Canals built over a dozen similar locomotives for a number of early American roads, many of which were still in daily service a decade later, and some of which were still used for switching and MOW duties into the 1860s.
Note: photos show an early iteration of this model, current model displays the name "BALTIMORE." on the splashers. An unnamed version will also be available again in the future.
Wheels will be needed to complete the model. The leading wheels are 36 inch spoked wheels with flush axle ends, available from Precision Scale Models (Part #31943). The driving wheels are available from American Scale models (listed on their site as listed on their website as 1033-28 - HO Scale - Steam Loco, trailing truck wheels, 54" spoked).
Various other details may be added (bell, driver, are not part of the print).
