This is a detail part to fill the open pilot of a Micro-Train Z scale GP35 and replace the truck mounted couplers with a body mounted Micro-Train Z scale 903 or 905 coupler (GP35 locomotive and couplers not included). The coupler that comes with GP35s truck will need to be cut off the truck to make clearance for the body mounted 903/905 coupler. In addition the lower tips of the truck frame need to be timed so that they wouldn't hit the back of pilot insert on curves, and a little bit of plastic that connects the sides to the center of the truck frame needs to be trimmed to get vertical clearance from the bottom of the coupler. The tabs on the side clip into the stair wells of the model and hold the part in place without glue, however the part could be glued in place.
