This model is a faithful recreation of the push car found in the Sheffield Car Co., Light Car catalog as well as the Fairbanks, Morris & Co., Railway Hand Cars and Push Carts Catalog.
This model is the Sheffield No. 4 model push car featuring 20" stamped steel wheels and 7'-0" x 5'-6 1/2" wood deck for Standard Gauge (4'-8 1/2") railroads.
NOTE: It a static model (non-rotating wheels).
Just clean and paint.

Richard Sullivan These are highly detailed static push cart and will look great attached to a stationary speeder, on a siding. They look like the ones used by the New Haven RR, and I will be adding scaffolding to make some have an elevated platform for catenary maintenance and repair. I'll be parking my on the siding between the electric locomotive ready and maintenance tracks and the yard tracks at Oak Point Yard as I have seen in several pictures. Very fine product, thanks.
