Adventure Mine Car

This mine car was designed by the Lake Shore Engine Works, of Marquette, Michigan, for the Adventure Consolidated Mine, of Greenland, Michigan in 1900. These cars were typical of those in Michigan's Copper Country. Instead of doors, larger rocks were stacked on each end. This is a static model, meant for 36" gauge track.
