Boston and Maine 1959 International Steel Caboose
3D Printed Kit
Couldn't load pickup availability
Provided in 1959 by International to the Boston and Maine as kits, these cabooses were reportedly built on frames recycled from earlier Laconia wood bodied, steel framed cabooses. With these cars, we've modified the frame rail down the center of the car. While it does not have the I-Beam, in it's place are slots that will allow metal rods to be inserted to help maintain frame stability. To finish the build you'll need to provide trucks, couplers, and screws. At present there is no interior to this caboose.
This is a 3d-printed kit.
What's included:
3d Printed body, frame, end ladders and stack. This is an un-painted 3d print. Digital renders showing painted model are for reference of what the model can look like.
Items needed for completion::
- Paint
- decals
- trucks
- Wheels
- Couplers
- Glue

Like the transfer caboose. It came out awesome!!! Again, love the weight and a great project!! The railings are flimsy would be my only concern. Brass might be better???
