Boston and Maine 1960 International Transfer Caboose
3D Printed Kit
Couldn't load pickup availability
Built in 1960 by International for the Boston and Maine, the transfer cars did have a number of similarities to the caboose order of the previous year, however were built specifically for transfer runs. With these cars, we've modified the frame rail down the center of the car. While it does not have the I-Beam, in it's place are slots that will allow metal rods to be inserted to help maintain frame stability. To finish the build you'll need to provide trucks, couplers, and screws. At present there is no interior to this caboose.
This is a 3d-printed kit.
What's included:
3d Printed body, frame, end ladders and stack. This is an un-painted 3d print. Digital renders showing painted model are for reference of what the model can look like.
Items needed for completion::
- Paint
- decals
- trucks
- Wheels
- Couplers
- Glue

I was excited from the start as these type of cabooses are not made by big “O” scale manufacturers. They are hardy and have good weight! I had to modify for 3 rail, but that was easy!!! Easy too airbrush! The longer stantions that were separate for the ends are slightly flimsy, but could easily interchanged with some brass. I will be purchasing again to two more in the near future!!
