The Boston & Maine adopted the steel cab on its locomotives in the leadup to the first world war. The main difference between most steel cabs and those installed by the B&M was the use of an arched window on each side. the style is very reminiscent of those used by the Southern Railway (SOU) during the steam era and will work for kitbashers there as well. My model is meant to fit most models assuming you modify the center cutout to fit whatever engine you are intending to model. I have used mine to represent Boston & Maine 934 using a Spectrum 4-4-0.
