I like to tell people I named this company ‘First Person Scale Models’ because my projects are only economical if I’m the first person to make them. So then why would I model the ubiquitous Amfleet, as already produced by both Walthers and Bachmann? Firstly, because a customer commissioned me to, but research revealed that both RTR models have fairly serious inaccuracies, and their limited availability and high cost may make printed models desirable for someone who is not afraid to paint them themselves. As a result, I did my best to do justice to these cars that many of us (including myself) have spent so much time riding.
