The California Fast Freight Line was a cooperative interchange program between the Union Pacific and Central Pacific railroads. It also held contracts with the Blue and Red Lines, so CFFL cars could travel on railroads with memberships in the Blue and Red Line Fast Freight Companies and vice versa. Letters one car.
Lettering options: includes small data to represent the car as-built (1884, top illustration) or upgraded with M.C.B. (knuckle) couplers (ca.1891, bottom illustration).
