GBC-C009 Denver & Rio Grande (1952) Movie Caboose Decals - HOn3, Sn3, On3

In 1951 Paramonut Pictures filmed the movie Denver & Rio Grande on location in the Colorado Rockies on Denver & Rio Grande Western's Silverton Branch. Caboose 0579 was painted in a period incorrect green paint scheme. While it may not have received the green movie paint, caboose 0571 was also photographed for black and white publicity stills that were than colored green, so its number is included in this set. Four additional movie heralds are included for use on buildings, as the depots also carried the movie herald.

While painted for the movie, 0579 was not repainted for many years, and was photographed in 1958 and 1959 wearing the movie scheme, so this decal set is appropriate for almost a decade, if not more. This waterslide decal set is printed in white only and letters two cars.
