The Utah Central Railway was the first "Mormon Road," connecting the Union Pacific and Central Pacific in Ogden, Utah, to Salt Lake City. Over the years it eventually fell under control of Union Pacific, becoming a full subsidiary of the UP system. Union Pacific owned coal mines in the Pleasant Valley region of Utah that were transferred from narrow gauge cars to standard gauge cars at Provo; this coal was used for locomotive fuel and thus Utah Central's gondolas might have been seen anywhere in the country that Union Pacific fueled its locomotives. Gondolas and flatcars received only odd numbers; boxcars received even numbers.
This waterslide decal set represents the cars as they appeared in the 1880s-1890s. Letters three complete models.
