Denver & Rio Grande Railroad standard right of way signage. Traced from historic photos and official railroad standards diagrams. These standards were first introduced in 1904 and while phased out during modernization of the standard gauge system in the 1940s, remained in place on the narrow gauge into the 1970s at some locations.
Includes decals to letter four complete crossbucks, six trespassing warning boards, three crossing whistleposts, two yard limit signs, two stop signs, two slow signs, four section boundary markers, two junction warnings, two station warnings, and three crossing warnings.
These signs were all white with black lettering. The base of the post was painted with black asphaltum one foot above ground level.
