An HO Model of a very early Coach manufactured by the Builders of Davenport & Bridges. This coach is intended to represent one of the many early coaches fabricated by the company, and would have been seen on a great number of railroads during the mid 1840's. The Cars feature reversible roof vents, which could rotate (or be rotated) depending on the direction of the trains movement. The company also apparently invented the reversible seat. For more information on this coach and the company's history, I would highly encourage reading this page by Mid Continents Website.
The car can be painted in whatever was most appropriate for your route, as many hundreds of these coaches were likely built for various railroads. Couplers can be crafted of brass or steel wire. Trucks must be sourced separately, in addition to wheelsets. Brass wire can be used for the end rails & grabirons, I would encourage referencing the illustration of the car for reference on Mid Continents Website. A brake wheel will also need to be sourced separately.
