An HO model for representing the LIRR D52 class 4-4-0's, built around 1874. These can also probably represent a variety of other engine types, though these were specifically modelled after the Schenectady Built Engines for the LIRR.
This kit is intended to be fit onto the Bachmann New Tool 4-4-0, for which conversion is fairly straightforward. After carefully removing the bodyshell, remove the existing smokebox cover plate. Then simply install the new Smokebox Extension & Pilot Lamp with a small amount of glue.
