The Lake Shore Engine Works, of Marquette, Michigan, advertised this car as their "Low Dump Car" used for places in mines and industrial settings where a very low clearance was needed. This car was cheap and inexpensive to build, and relied on the front truck to act as a pivot for dumping.
This kit prints in one piece, and is offered in either a dumping or normal position. This is a static model for 18" gauge track.
