As a follow-on to our B&A commuter coaches, we’ve taken to the Rock Island 2500 class of suburban coach. Better known as the Capone coaches, these cars ran in Chicago area commuter service for decades. The only thing that doesn’t come with the car kit is wire for grabs and piping, and glazing for the windows. You can also order the car with or without wheels and couplers in case you already have some on your workbench.To help inform your assembly, we’ve written this instruction packet to help guide you.Due to the size of this model and the machine time required, lead time may be closer to 3 to 4 weeks.
