While EBT  No. 7 was comparable to a C19 class 2-8-0, for the On30 modeler looking to capture the post-fire look of No. 7? These parts will help with that. The smokebox extension and cab are meant to make modifying a BLI C16 into a locomotive resembling No. 7 in it's post-1908 fire configuration. The smokebox extension is designed to slot into the BLI boiler, while the smokebox front can be installed into the extension unit. The cab slips onto the frame but does not have locking tabs like the stock BLI cabs.

As a note, what is presently known of EBT No. 7 is limited. Photographs of it on the OR&W later in life show the steel cab it received, which appears very similar to the one fitted to No. 11 which had arrived a few months prior to the fire that left No. 7 in need of a new cab.

Now keep in mind, you'll need to rewire the headlights, fill in some holes, paint work, etc. To get to a full EBT No. 7 configuration the running boards will need to be reconfigured entirely, and the air tank removed from the top of the tender. But if you want a simple modernization to the BLI C-16 2-8-0, or even just making the C16 look less Rio Grande? Well this will certainly help. No matter what these parts will make for short work on modifying the appearance of the BLI engine.
