A standard riveted ore bucket, or kibble. Used for hoisting ores and minerals out of mine shafts. The design practically didn't change from the 18th century until the 1930s when welded steel replaced rivets. A loop on the bottom allowed a second chain to be attached, allowing the bucket to be dumped. There are 2 different variants, the raised bail version, as if it is being hoisted, or the lowered bail version, for a disconnected or dumping bucket.
