Bring your HOn3 railroad across streams, valleys, and rugged terrain with the Mainline Railworks Straight Trestle Deck. Designed for the Mainline Railworks HO-scale trestle system, each deck section comes with Code 80 rail installed and two track connectors, allowing it to connect directly to Mainline Railworks HOn3 sectional track.

Inspired by traditional railroad trestle construction and D&RGW standard plans, these modular deck sections are available in two lengths. Combine compatible sections to create a longer elevated route, extend an existing trestle, or build a standalone crossing.

Choose Your Deck Length

Select the length that best fits your track plan:

• 4.5-inch section: Ideal for compact crossings, shorter spans, and adjusting the overall length of your trestle. Three bents are recommended to fully support a standalone section.

• 9-inch section: Provides a longer straight section for crossing larger gaps and building extended trestles. Six bents are recommended to fully support a standalone section.

Both lengths feature installed Code 80 rail and two track connectors for direct connection to Mainline Railworks HOn3 sectional track.

Modular Support Planning

Decks and bents are sold separately, giving you the flexibility to choose the bent style and height that best suit your bridge.

Each section's recommended bent count provides full support for a standalone assembly, including support at the ends and beneath joints between adjoining sections. When extending an existing trestle, adjoining sections share support at their joint, reducing the number of additional bents needed. For a single span between bridge abutments, two bents may be omitted when suitable abutments are used.
