PCRy gondolas were all built in the PCRy shops on 33-foot flatcar bases and had two- three- or four-board sides. #1221 was converted from the flatcar of the same number sometime between 1915 and 1932. Model based on drawings by Curt Johnson in the book “The Pacific Coast Railway – Central California’s Premier Narrow Gauge”.

Model includes 3D-printed body and coupler pocket covers. Modeler must supply Bachmann Ez-Mate couplers and trucks, screws (2), brake wheel, brass wire for brake staff, and truss rods.
