A 21-foot On30 McKeen railcar. This is very, very loosely based on the first McKeen built, a 2-axle standard gauge railcar for the Union Pacific. There are three body choices, wood sided passenger, wood sided freight, or steel sided passenger. There are two different chassis choices, one for the Lambert Locomotive Works Stalwart drive, the other for the Bachmann On30 trolley drive.
The proportions of the chassis for the Stalwart drive match the prototype proportion better, but it requires larger radius curves and a bit more work to build. The chassis for that uses the Bachmann On30 trolley is pretty much a drop in. You can also choose whether you want a standard or snowplow pilot. The Stalwart drive chassis also has an opening for a Tony's Train Exchange 15mmx11mm sugar cube speaker enclosure.

The McKeen Railcars were extremely unique vehicles that still stand out in railroading history, just check out the You Tube videos. The original McKeens were built for Standard Gauge service, but the design would also look right at home on Narrow Gauge tracks. That idea intrigued me so much I had to have one…or two…or three. 3DP TRAIN offers three Narrow Gauge adaptations of the classic McKeen design — in both “long” and “short” versions, with a further choice of original wood, or steel coach construction. This model completes my McKeen troika — and it’s the best one yet. It was flawlessly printed, capturing all of the eye-catching “ahead-of-it’s-time" nuance of the design, while providing easy accommodation of a choice of power units, such as the Bachmann Street Car which is readily found on eBay. It would be the star of any layout!
The picture shows the car with the headlight casting installed and also shows the headlight available as an individual item. I'd like to see it made clear that the headlight must be ordered separately if you wish to use it.
