If you model the Virginia & Truckee or any late 1800s railroad your layout isn't complete without ore cars! These ore cars are modeled after those built for and by the Virginia & Truckee. Used to haul ore from the Comstock Lode in Virginia City to the stamp mills along the Carson River.
