The Chicago, Milwaukee and Saint Paul Railway rostered roughly 4,000 boxcars in the 28 foot length category. Data was difficult to come by, but I believe these cars were most likely built, in part or in whole, by the Ohio Falls Car Company around 1880. They featured outside-framed doors and swing motion arch-bar trucks (our HO-7015 series). Measurements were estimated from a combination of Official Railway Equipment Register data, photo analysis, and period design standards.
