During the late 1860s, Billmeyer and Smalls was producing a standard 28' box car with wood beam trucks. This model, based on a Lake Superior and Mississippi prototype, could be found on many other railroads around the U.S.

Kit contains body, underbody, and coupler box covers only. Decals will have to be furnished by the modeler to match a specific prototype.

Trucks and couplers are available as add-ons.
